Lulle – bassist between extremes and complexity
Lulle embraces extremes – and his bass playing reflects this musical journey. His roots lie in old-school thrash metal, where he conquered the stage in underground bands like Deception not only with powerful basslines but also as a lead singer.
But his sound continued to evolve: from raw thrash metal with Crypt, he moved into the dark spheres of symphonic doom metal with Lux Serpent.
With Beyond Pain, he finally combined powerful bass riffs with symphonic metal elements—a combination that combines depth and intensity. Now, he has found a new home in Mekong Age, which challenges his versatility and inspires him to further develop his bass playing.
With precise, driving lines and a powerful presence, Lulle lays the foundation for Mekong Age's sound. His bass isn't just accompaniment—it's the pulsating force that holds the songs together and gives them their dynamic depth.
Deep, powerful and uncompromising!
